HOW THIS WORKS
1. What is the eligibility criteria for me to sell on DuaVivo?
All users wishing to sell through DuaVivo have to be members of DuaVivo. Please see our membership section for more details.
2. How can I sell through DuaVivo?
There are three modes of selling through DuaVivo
Dua Store: Sell it as a consignment (through us).
Dua Direct: Go for the direct selling route (by listing through a very simple format) .
Dua Swap: If you’d like to bring home something in return for what you sell, swap it with a buyer.
3. What can I sell?
You can sell luxury goods of particular brands. By goods we mean, products of the following categories: Bags, Sunglasses, Shoes, Watches & Accessories
4. How long will it take to sell my item?
Every product is listed for a period of 60 days. We try our best to crack the deal at the earliest. However, 30 days is the time we promise as the sale depends on the condition and price of the product.
5. Does DuaVivo purchase my item from me directly?
DuaVivo does not engage in purchase of products from customers as our business rule and policy is strictly to be a facilitator and service provider. We take products on consignment for a period of 60 days. However, in some cases if we feel we can make an exception, we will consider purchasing the product directly from the seller.
6. Who will decide the selling price of my item?
DuaVivo’s valuation team, consisting of experts in the field of luxury, gives the best price possible to every product. This is done in order to maintain fair and uniform pricing and make the selling process for the seller as well as the buyer a pleasurable experience. Our pricing strategy works in a way such that every seller feels satisfied with the amount realized from the sale and the buyer, too, gets a good bargain from his/her purchase.
We aim to keep our pricing at around 50% of the market price, keeping in mind the best interests of the seller as well as the buyer. A 20% Consignment fee is charged on the sale value is charged on every product which is on consignment.
If you are curious about the pricing of a specific item, we encourage you to browse through DuaVivo at www.duavivo.in for similar items and to get an idea of the market price. Alternatively, email us at email@example.com with a few photos and description of your product and we will get back to you with a tentative pricing.
7. How is confidentiality maintained?
We understand how important confidentiality can be for you. This is the reason why we maintain confidentiality of customers who choose to use our services through Dua Store. To maintain confidentiality for whatsoever reason and to let us crack the deal for you, we charge a fee.
8. Does DuaVivo keep my item or do I?
If you are selling under Dua Store, DuaVivo will display the product at the stores. In Dua Direct and Dua Swap, the sellers keep the product with them until a purchase request has been raised/ made.
9. How long will DuaVivo keep my item?
Under Dua Store, once the consignment contract has been signed between the seller and DuaVivo, we keep the product with us for a period of 60 days. At the end of 60 days, if the product has not been sold we display it for 30 more days only if the seller agrees to a reduction in price. Otherwise, the product is immediately shipped back to the seller.
10. Where will DuaVivo keep my item?
DuaVivo will display most products at the store, to further encourage and promote sales of the product. The products not on display at the stores are carefully stored in our warehouse.
11. How long does it take for you to process my Items?
It takes up to 4-10 days of transit time for us to receive your prized possession. Once we receive it, we'll send you a confirmation email so that you know that we have received it. Then, it takes up to 1 week to process your items. Upon review, we'll send you another email telling you the status of your items!
12. How do I know which items has DuaVivo accepted and which rejected?
To see a breakdown of your sell order, go to your Account page and click on the “Submit it” tab.
13. Can I send you brands that aren’t on your list?
Yes, you can. However, before we can accept the brands that are not on our list our team will inspect and assess the brand and the product. Only then will we allow it to be displayed on our portal.
14. Are all items on DuaVivo used?
All products coming onto our portal will be pre-owned. However, there may be cases in which the products are unused.
15. How often is new inventory added?
We are constantly adding new items, so check back often since no two items are alike. What you see today will be different from what is available any other day.
16. Why should I sell from my closet?
Upgrading to something else, wanting to go for a different colour, a larger size or let’s say just for a change. There are enough reasons for you to sell.
17. When and how do I get paid when selling through Dua Store?
Once the product has been sold to the buyer successfully, the mutually agreed upon amount is transferred to your account within 15 days of sale.
18. What about payment under Dua Direct?
When members are transacting independent of DuaVivo, we do not get involved in the payments. We only provide Value Added Services at a nominal cost ( actuals)
19. How do I send my products to DuaVivo?
When you are selling through Dua Store, you can schedule a pickup with us. Pack your items and let us handle the rest. When selling through Dua Direct and Dua Swap, we can help you.But these services come at a cost.
20. Do I have to pay to ship my items to you?
We recommend that you arrange for pickup/ delivery of your product(s). If at all you want us to do the pickup/ delivery, the same can be organized by us with a reputed logistics company. Nevertheless, risk of any damage, theft, etc, during transit is not the responsibility of DuaVivo and it is at your own risk.
21. How will I know when DuaVivo has received my items?
We will send you an email letting you know it has arrived! Please note that it can take up to 4-10 days for us to receive your box.
22. Can I have a shipping address different from the registered postal address?
Yes, of course. At checkout, we give you the option to enter the desired shipping address. If the address is the same as your registered address, simply click on the checkbox that says “Same as registered address”, and if not, then enter the desired shipping address in the box provided.
23. How long does it take for a product to be shipped, once the order is placed?
We know how excited you are to start using the product you just ordered and thus we try to keep the delivery time very short. However, once the product is ordered, delivery can be made in anywhere between 4-6 days from the date of placing the order.
Free shipping for orders above Rs. 10,000. Below Rs. 10,000 packaging & delivery charges of Rs. 1,000 will be applicable.
24. Can I create a wish list?
Yes, you can. Create a wish list if you haven’t made a decision and are considering buying the product in the near future. We’ll notify you with an update and help you get what you wish for
25. Do you reduce the price?
DuaVivo is open to receiving offers from interested buyers on any item, so as to ensure a fair chance for the seller and the buyer to make a successful transaction. Once an offer is received, it is automatically communicated to the seller. On approval from the seller on the offer, the item is successfully sold at the offer price.
26. What does it mean if an item is ‘Unavailable'?
Because each item on our site is unique, only one person can purchase each item. When an item is added to someone's cart, it appears as 'waiting list' for 12 minutes to everyone else, so that multiple people cannot claim it. Once the purchase is completed, the item will be removed from the marketplace. If the potential buyer decides not to purchase the item we remove it from the cart after 12 minutes, and make it available allowing others to purchase it once again.

28. Is my data secure with DuaVivo?
Yes, it is. We make sure your data is kept secure by our team.
29. What are the terms and conditions of a consignment contract?
This document confirms your consignment with DuaVivo (OCI Lifestyles Pvt. Ltd.). Hereby, the seller would be referred to as the Consignor and the Company, the Consignee. Confirmation of the consignment is subject to the below mentioned points.
DuaVivo does not and will not entertain the entry of any counterfeit or fake products in any manner on the portal and thus, reserves the right to initiate any legal proceedings.
Premature termination of the contract by the consignor, before the end of the consignment period, selling an item, jointly valued by the consignor and DuaVivo, will lead to a penalty of Rs. 4,000/- per item, which would be payable to DuaVivo by the Consignor.
In case the item is not sold within the consignment period of 3 months, despite all efforts by DuaVivo:
1. The selling price of item(s), and consequently the net income of the seller, will automatically get reduced by 20%. The product will be listed under "Hot Deals" automatically. The listing under "Hot Deals" is valid until either the item gets sold or the seller opts for a return of the product. There is no lock-in period for this.
2. The seller can alternatively opt for a return of their item(s), on full payment of a fee of Rs. 1,300 per product towards the operational and marketing expenses incurred on the product – authentication, spa-cleaning, pick-up and delivery, store display in the most known shopping malls of India, display on website and app, google marketing, social media marketing and more. This amount is payable by the seller ONLY at the end of the consignment period, should they opt for a return of their item(s). The product returned to the seller will be a thoroughly spa-cleaned one.
DuaVivo will be entitled to a consignment fee of up to 30%.
DuaVivo is responsible and authorized to take all necessary steps to sell your product on www.duavivo.in and the DuaVivo App & store. This includes writing the descriptions, highlighting the effects and uploading photographs of the product and also display at the store. No prior permission for the sale will be taken from the consignor.
PLEASE NOTE: Consignment does not mean “sale” of the item. In other words, you the Consignor, legally give the rights to DuaVivo to sell your Product. Until it is sold on our portal, the product is the property of the Consignor.
The legal ownership is transferred to the Buyer of the item on the day the product is purchased and shipped to the Buyer and the Consignor is notified.
Promotional Offers: DuaVivo runs promotions or further discounts of up to 10% on special occasions like Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, New Year, etc. Consignor agrees to allow these reductions in prices during the promotions. During these offers if the product(s) gets sold, the final sale price will be considered to deduct the consignment fee payable to DuaVivo on successful sale i.e. DuaVivo to retain 20% consignment fee on final sale price and the remaining sale proceeds will be transferred to the consignor account.

1 How do I look for a particular product?
The search bar enables you to search for products based on the brand and category or you could simply use the links displayed on the site to view products from specific categories directly. Alternatively, you can find what you’re looking for by using the product ID. Once you have entered the brand or category of your choice, you can use the different filters provided in order to narrow down your search to look for specific a style, color, size, etc.
2 How do I buy on DuaVivo?
In order to provide our buyers as well as the sellers the best value and worth of their deals, we allow for the following two modes of transaction: Dua Store & Dua Direct. See ‘How this works’ to understand both modes of of buying.
3 What are the conditions to sell items on DuaVivo ?
The condition of the products on DuaVivo are determined based on appearance and frequency of use.
The 4 categories under which we place the condition of the products are:
- Unused: The product is pre-owned but hasn’t been used.
- As good as new: The product is as good as unused – used once or twice, with no signs of wear.
- Lightly used: The product has been used a few times, with slight signs of wear.
- Fairly used: The product has been used quite a few times, with evident signs of wear.
4 What does 'Sold by DuaVivo' mean?
All products sold under Dua Store are tagged as 'Sold by DuaVivo'. Products having this tag undergo all Value Added Services by default.
5 How do I know that the products are authentic?
Under Dua Store, the products are collected and aggregated by us. Our team of experts carefully inspect each item we receive and determine its authenticity. We also get products authenticated from a third-party agency in America. Hence, we guarantee 100% authenticity or your money back!
6 Is the item in the photo the actual item I would be receiving?
Yes! Photos of all products sold by Dua Store are taken at our in-house photo studio, so what you see is exactly what you get. We however insist our members to follow the Instructions for Photos (hyperlink), so that we can post your listings at the earliest on the website and for our members to have the best selling or buying experience.
7 How is confidentiality maintained?
We understand how important confidentiality can be for the most of us. This is the reason why we have a system that generates unique membership IDs for every member of the portal, which will be their reference number, used everywhere. Only the member him/herself and DuaVivo knows whom the ID belongs to. For all external communication/ display, the ID will be used, without disclosing any personal detail of the members.
8 How can I pay for my product?
When shopping via Dua Store, clicking on checkout will take you to the payment page, where we offer you various options to pay. You could pay through your debit card, credit card, net banking, purchase on EMI. COD too is available for our customers based in Bangalore.
9 Can I pay COD?
Yes, of course. Cash on delivery is a feature provided by DuaVivo to ensure you are 100% convinced about your purchase before you pay for it.
10 What is your return and refund policy?
We accept returns only for products purchased online through the Dua Store mode. Once you receive the product, you get a window of 48 hours to inspect and accept the product and assess whether it is exactly what you expected and were waiting for. If not, you will need to give us a call and we will get the product picked up from the delivery address, provided the tag and all accompaniments of the product are intact.
The refund will be processed within 2-3 business days once we have received the returned product in the exact same condition as it was shipped originally.
11 Is there any shipping charges on my order?
Shipping is absolutely free for orders above Rs. 10,000/-.
For orders that are below Rs.10,000/-, packaging & delivery charges of Rs. 1,000 will be applicable.
12 Does DuaVivo provide any warranty on the products sold on its website/app/store?
No. DuaVivo does not provide any warranty on the products sold through any of its channels.
The products listed on DuaVivo are sold on "As is" condition. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the product is in satisfactory condition before he/she decides to buy the product. DuaVivo does not entertain any repairs/services of the product.

2 Do I have to pay when I sign up for DuaVivo?
No, you don’t have to.
3 What happens afterwards?
You’ll have to upgrade to any of our paid plans to stay connected to the DuaVivo community.
4 How do I register to be a part of the DuaVivo Community?
You can either enter the required details like name, date of birth, email id and number and a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the registered mobile number.
5 Do I need to be a member of the community to browse the portal?
No, you don’t have to be a member to simply browse the portal. Every individual is given the option to browse through the entire portal before taking a decision of joining our community. However, to initiate any kind of a transaction or avail any of our services, you will have to sign up for the membership.
6 How long am I bound to a plan?
That depends on the plan you choose as every plan has a different time limit.
7 Is it essential to share my contact number to be a member of the community?
Yes, it is absolutely mandatory to share your contact number for verification purposes and to ensure security of the DuaVivo Community.
8 How do I edit my account information?
You can edit your email address, shipping address and billing information from the ‘My Account’ page.
9 What if I forget my password?
If you forget your password, please visit the Forgot Password link on the Login page. We'll send you an email to reset your password.
10 How do I change my password?
To change your password, visit the “Account Details” tab. This tab can be accessed at any time by clicking on ‘My Account’ in the top navigation when you are logged in.
11 How can I change the number of emails I receive or unsubscribe?
You can subscribe or unsubscribe from the My Account page under the “Newsletter Subscriptions” tab. This is also where you can choose your preferences for our New Arrival emails!
12 Can I create multiple accounts?
At this time, we only allow one account per person. If a user is found to have multiple accounts, this may result in order cancellation, removal of credit and/or account banning at the discretion of DuaVivo.
13 Do I need to be a member of DuaVivo to avail the Value Added Services?
Yes, most definitely. All Value Added Services provided by DuaVivo are exclusively for members of the DuaVivo Community.
14 What are the Value Added Services that DuaVivo offers?
DuaVivo offers a range of Value Added Services that come as an all-inclusive package for members transacting via Dua Store and are additionally chargeable (actuals) services for members transacting via Dua Direct.
15 Does DuaVivo have a physical store that I can visit?
Yes, DuaVivo has a unique and one-of-its-kind experiential zone at one of the most premium locations – VR Bengaluru, Atrium section, ground floor. The store will give you a thorough feel of a luxury shopping experience.
16 How do I know that the products are authentic?
We have experts who carefully inspect each item we receive and determine its authenticity. We also get products authenticated from a third-party agency from the USA. Hence, we guarantee 100% authenticity or we give your money back!
17 Is the item in the photo the actual item I'd be receiving?
Yes! All of the photos on our website are taken at our on-site photo studio, so what you see is exactly what you get.
18 How do I list my product via Dua Direct?
You simply need to click on “Sell”, fill in the seller’s form, tick the mode you want to use and upload pictures of the product(s) with the help of the guidelines provided by us. The listing goes live in 48-72 hours after upload, provided it is as per our terms and conditions.
To list the product for a swap, follow an additional step of ticking "Yes" under "Swappable". Finally, upload pictures of the product(s) with the help of the guidelines provided by us and the listing goes live in 48-72 hours after upload.
19 How long does my product get listed for on the portal and/or at the store?
Every product uploaded under Dua Store, Dua Direct and Dua Swap is listed for a period of 60 days from the date it becomes visible on the portal for selling.
20 How do I manage my listing?
You can access your current listings in the “Manage Account” page, wherein you can edit and/or deactivate your active listings.
21 Can I remove my product listing before the completion of 60 days?
Dua Direct and Dua Swap customers can delete their listing whenever they wish to do so.
Under Dua Store, sellers can contact DuaVivo if they wish to remove their product listing for whatsoever reason. The product will be returned to the seller once a fee of Rs. 4,000/- has been paid by the seller for all the services rendered on the product by DuaVivo. The fee includes costs incurred in spa treatment, authentication, logistics, photography, etc.
22 How long does my product get listed for on the portal and/or at the store?
Every product uploaded under Dua Store, Dua Direct and Dua Swap is listed for a period of 60 days from the date it becomes visible on the portal for selling.
23 What if the product I like is unavailable/ sold?
That’s alright. You could simply get in touch with our team or write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the details of the product of your choice and we will do our best to make it available for you as soon as we can!
